| Synopsis |
A film about an abandoned mine in Alentejo. This project contains an experimental narrative, based on image composition and poetry.
The first part of the film describes the mining population, which survives in the old working village. The stories of the ancients intersect with the reality of the village
in Alentejo.
In the second part of the film, we went to the site. The desolate landscape assumes the role of protagonist and it’s registered with the recited poetry. The rhymes of the
poem itself reflect the rhymes of the images created by the plasticity of the scenery, with the purpose to capture the mystical essence of the landscape. |
